Hi, I'm Rich Southcott, 24 years old, originally from Guildford, Surrey. Nice to meet you.
My parents had me on skis at the age of 3 and I'm seriously grateful for it. I've always loved skiing and the mountains (although I stopped skiing and boarded instead for 8 years - please forgive me).
Last year I spent the winter in Chamonix and loved it. Met some great people. Did some amazing skiing. Unfortunately at the end of it I felt like I hadn't done enough.
This season's goal is to go one better. Returning to Chamonix, living with Charlie Wilkinson who I met at uni and lived with last year.

The first and most important thing was to buy the Unlimited Mont Blanc ski pass. The worker's pass last year was dammmmnn cheap but missing out on the Midi / Top Bin is crippling and really limited my skiing. 53 euros a go is hard to stomach...
NB. It's a late start to the blog but we've only just sorted out the internet. Will do a quick mash up of the season so far.
